Vehicle Detail
This 2009 Triumph Bonneville SE is a one of a kind bike. It was/is my dream bike and has been extremely fun to ride. It turns heads, gets compliments, and is an all around amazing bike. I've ridden a number of bikes and none have compared to the low end torque and growl of the Bonnie's 865cc parallel twin. I recently purchased a second Triumph for longer distance rides and I don't like seeing this one sit unused in the garage, so I'm putting it up for sale for someone else to enjoy! The 2009 model is electronically fuel injected (but it has dummy carbs to trick people and a functional "choke" that increases fuel injection which is actually very useful for cold starts). The bike has just over 5,075 miles on it. I am the second owner and purchased it when it had ~1,900 miles on it. It has no mechanical issues and is in almost new condition (let the pictures speak for themselves). This bike has a number of modifications. All modifications were professionally and properly installed. No half-a jobs here. 1. Arrow 2 into 2 exhaust and headers (~$1000 value) - This is the genuine Triumph aftermarket exhaust for the Bonneville. It sounds incredible. - It includes baffles that are easily installed/removed with snap ring pliers and significantly quiet the exhaust down. - The headers have O2 sensor deletes installed (original headers with O2 sensors will be included). - Fuel Injection is currently controlled by a power commander with a downloaded fuel mapping. - 44% lighter than stock silencers (stock chrome silencers are included) 2. Dynojet Power Commander V Fuel Injection Tuning System (~$300 value) - Mappings are available online for different performance tunes. - Most shops equipped with a dyno can load a custom fuel mapping onto this system. 3. KYB Adjustable Rear Shocks (rare, ~$400 value) - These were pulled from a Kawasaki ZRX 1100. They are in great condition. They match the black bike well and have 4 pre-loads to choose from. 4. Norman Hyde "M Bars" Cafe Handlebars (~$75 value) 5. Napoleon Cafe Bar End Mirrors (~$70 value) 6. LSL Billet Aluminum Rearsets (~$380 value) - Original rearset/footpegs included 7. Headlight Stone Guard (~$50 value) 8. Triumph Genuine Parts - Locking Gas Cap (~$55 value) - Original Gas Cap Included 9. Triumph Genuine Parts - Gas tank knee pads (~$40 value) - The SE model did not come with these 10. SEL-Motion helmet lock (~$35 value) 11. Engine case and transmission covers were powder coated black by original owner. Very professional job. Brake and shifter levers were also powder coated black. A few original parts are included (the stock silencers, headers, handlebars, rearsets, and a box of random bits of hardware... not sure what you'd actually want to re-install, but it's yours). That about sums it up. It's been winterized in a temperature controlled garage properly each winter and is ready to ride. The cables were just adjusted at the Triumph dealer and it has fresh oil in it. A new OEM Gel Battery was purchased from the Triumph dealer last summer. The tires are the original Metzeler ME Z 2 tires that came on the bike and are in great shape, no cracking or any issues. I've never done any burnouts or tracking/hard riding. Note: the original owner misplaced the owner's manual and the key for the steering column lock. The column lock key can be re-created if you take the bike to a lock smith. I have 2 copies of the ignition key though. Should be good for many more miles. Message me with any questions. More pictures can be provided upon request. Thanks! Youtube video of the actual bike:
