Up for Auction is a 1987 Chevrolet Full Size 2-Door Blazer Four Wheel Drive with the Silverado Package and Equipment listed below. This is a 1-owner vehicle that according to AutoCheck and Carfax records has 206,xxx original miles and was ordered with just about every available option at the time. This vehicle is equipped with an Automatic Overdrive Transmission coupled to a Part time Transfer Case and OEM Manual Hubs. This is the highly desirable Polar White Exterior / Saddle Brown Interior combination. This vehicle was the owner’s baby – unfortunately, the owner passed away in 2009 and the vehicle has basically sat since. It has been garaged all it’s life and during the course of it’s ownership has gotten the best of everything. All lubricants used were synthetic and the oil was changed every 2000-2500 miles. The original White exterior paint on both the body sheet metal and fiberglass top are in amazing condition for a 27 year old vehicle. The seats have the original upholstery and were covered with decent quality Sheepskin Covers in Front and Acrylic ones in the back, hence the upholstery is in incredibly nice condition. Due this vehicle spent most of it’s life in Central California and Nevada (and inside a garage whenever it wasn’t being driven) there is no rust on any of the body undersurfaces – this vehicle was also undercoated. Believe it or not, we didn’t even wash the exterior, engine compartment or undercarriage prior to taking photos – we wanted you to see how nice it’s been kept without any extensive cleaning. The family doesn't recall the vehicle ever being used off-road. There is a free AutoCheck record for the asking --- It details a minor accident in 2008 which happened in the following way – the fuel pump died and when a tow truck came to pick up the vehicle, it was the older sling style type with an operator that apparently was inexperienced. He hooked the vehicle up wrong and did damage to one of the small reverse lights on the back bumper and the fuel tank was creased by a chain. This is documented and if it’s a deal breaker for you we can provide a photo or two and insurance reports of this. There was no bumper, body or frame involvement. The Fuel Tank and Pump (Pump was dead anyway) were both replaced at that time. The GM Factory Repair Manuals pictured along with a decent Car Cover and quality Sheepskin (Front) and Acrylic (Back) Seat Covers are included with the sale. There are a few issues with the vehicle that are detailed below. These are all considered normal for this vintage Chevy Truck and are relatively easy to resolve especially for anyone who has any mechanical ability at all. Please be aware they have been already factored into the price.
