It would likely be impossible to find a more original and immaculate example of this sweet Swedish classic. I purchased the car from the second owner seven years ago (2007). He had the car since 1962 (45 years), having purchased it from the original owner in Pasadena, CA. This little PV has been lovingly cared for and always garaged for the past 55 years! Let the many pictures, just taken recently, speak for themselves... The ONLY two changes (upgrades) done since the car left the Volvo factory in Goteborg, Sweden, are: The electrical system was enhanced from six volt to twelve and the B-16 engine was boosted to a B-18. Both are dual carb 4 cylinder, but the B-18 provides far better performance and reliability. All work was professionally performed by ALL VOLVO of Seattle, WA. The car has been featured in several sources, including "Rolling," the official publication of the Volvo Club of America. (INCLUDED IN SALE).This extremely special vehicle has been stored in a climatically controlled environment and only carefully driven (read: exercised) on occasional spins in the Spring Green, Wisconsin countryside. In fact, the car is kept at a restored Frank Lloyd Wright residence near the great architect's own home, Taliesin. Mr. Wright died the same year this vehicle was new. What a sight it creates when parked near the entrance of this beautiful building. FLW would have certainly approved of this legendary car; it's even in his signature color!
