1979 Pontiac Firebird- It was originally an Esprit with the Red Bird graphics and a 2 barrel 301. I had it custom painted around 1997 and restored and modified it in that period (most of the "new" suspension parts were installed in that period, but very little miles were put on since). The paint is in good condition with some minor rust behind the rear wheels. Interior is mostly original, the seats have been replaced. All weatherstripping was replaced as well as new carpet was installed. Has the aluminum snowflake rims in good condition. I drove the car prior to 2002, then it has sat until in the last year I finally got the 400 engine swapped in and running. Modifications : - Pontiac 400 w/ new 750 Holley, Edelbrock Torker intake manifold, headers, and Crower cam - TH350 rebuilt with less than 100 miles - Dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers - Front swaybar from a 1979 Trans Am, aftermarket heavy rear swaybar - New Trans Am OES rear leaf springs - 4 new Herb Adams shocks installed - Rear disc brake axle from a Trans Am with posi and new 3.23 gear - Hurst rachet shifter - Original gas tank replaced with a 20 gallon racing fuel cell - Battery relocated to trunk - Mid '90's Ford Probe seats, driver is power w/ lumbar -Jensen CD player - Tires need replaced
