Too many cars! I've come to realize that I can only drive one at a time, so time to get rid of some stuff!!! 1978 Porsche 911 SC roller, presently has a TOY JET LS-1 V-8 conversion installed. Upon completion of the sale and the purchaser's funds have cleared, my mechanic will remove the LS-1 V8 that's presently installed and all related TOY JET conversion components. This car is a "roller" complete EXCEPT FOR THE ENGINE (and rear deck lid), paint is "good but not great", i.e. a few minor dents, dings, and scratches, but nothing that stands out or is immediately noticeable. NO RUST, factory sport seats, everything works with the exception of the sunroof, which is stuck in an "almost closed" position (most likely the sunroof cable is twisted and needs to be replaced, a common problem and inexpensive fix with vintage 911s), headliner is sagging and should be replaced, and junky tires that should be replaced immediately. Wheels are 7"/8" x 16" Ronals that need refinishing. So, all that will be needed to have a complete, running car will be another engine (hmmm, I just happen to have a "HOT ROD" 3.2 engine in my other listing, please take a look at it if you're interested) and a rear deck lid (I have several available). I'm open to including all the TOY JET conversion parts for additional $$, but want to keep the engine for another project, but since I'm a firm believer in the saying "everything is negotiable", I would let the engine go as well if the price is right -- you never know unless you ask, yes?. I have a couple of four post lifts in my carriage house, and I'd be pleased to take some underneath pics if requested, but please be forewarned that the lighting is marginal and I'm strictly an amateur when it comes to taking pics with my iPhone.
