1966 Mustang Coupe Survivor!! Here is an unbelievable find!! Grandma bought the car new in 1966. When she could no longer drive it, she gave it to her grand daughter who kept it for a year and did not have a place to store it, so we bought it from her still titled in the original owners name. The car is in fantastic condition! It sports all of the original panels and the original paint. There are a few touch ups, but shines very nicely. There are a couple very small bubbles that are forming, but we are leaving it in the original condition for the next owner to decide if they want to leave it original or get it touched up. The interior is in fantastic shape, with no wear on the seats, door panels or headliner. There are no cracks in the dash. The carpet is also original, and is very respectable. There are 2 cracks in the steering wheel that can be replaced, or repaired for about $100. If it is repaired, it will still have the original wheel. The 289 engine looks great and runs strong. It starts right up, has no rattles or knocks, and doesn't smoke. The original owners have replaced the valve covers and carburetor, so it doesn't have the correct air cleaner, but I do have the correct air cleaner if you want it. The underside of the car is in great condition. The frame and floor pans are original and are showing just a touch of rust, but nothing serious. The original equipment wheels were replaced by the grand daughter with Crager SS's and Cooper Cobra's that are in good shape. I do not have the original steel wheels, but I do have the original hub caps that are in great shape. We are located 20 miles south of Lincoln Nebraska, and 60 miles southwest of Omaha. Feel free to fly here and look at it before you bid. If you choose to drive it home, we will meet you at either airport. We see no reason it would not make it across country, but of course, we have not owned the car for long, so we recommend having it hauled. We can help you with a great shipping quote.
