Up for sale is my 1963 Mercury Meteor, I listed it as a Comet because Meteor was not an option on the list. It has a 260 V8 with an automatic transmission. The engine runs strong and doesn't smoke or knock, transmission shifts like it should. The carb was rebuilt a while back but could probably use a cleaning. The gas tank needs to be cleaned, instead of doing this already I bypassed the tank and set up a jug under the hood just to get by in the short run. The interior is in decent shape for its age, everything is there except the driver's side door panel and glass, the glass was replaced with plexiglass just as a temporary fix. The front seat was recovered red, the rear could use recovering and the headliner is falling in. The body is in good shape, very little rust and only one dent in the rear passenger quarter panel. There is a small rust spot in front passenger fender but the floors are solid. The tire on the rear passenger side is a little large for the car and will rub if not driven easily. I also have 3 of the 4 original hubcaps and the build sheet for the vehicle. If you have any questions I can be reached through eBay messaging or on my cell at 662-315-1337.
