Vehicle Detail
Excellent condition, 48,937 miles, no disappointments here. Never smoked in. Second owner. All original. See window sticker for options, Includes speedster panels, which use the special hardtop mounting points. Very rare factory sport exhaust, plus 17" wheels, xenon headlights. Standard equipment includes climate control, 5-speed manual, and power top, and work like new. Always well taken care of, looks new, paint is beautiful. Tires have 6-7/32's inch tread left all around with even wear. No chips or cracks in glass. Leather in great shape. Drivers seat shows some wrinkle on the edge bolster, see the picture and zoom in. Car original from Texas, now in Arizona, no rust. I'm a snowbird, so the car had Minnesota plates for a while, but never left Arizona. If you live in the Phoenix area, you're welcome to stop by and have a look. Only repair I've needed have done was brake pads and oil change. Porsche inspected, see picture for the printed report of everything they looked at. There were four items mentioned: 1. Spark plugs, but as they point out, they are not actually due for another 10k miles 2. Brake fluid, and that's pretty standard to have it changed regularly. 3. Boots for cv joints have tear on one side, and even though they did not say how bad, it's a reasonable thing to fix. 4. Cam cover leak. They would not tell me how bad, damp or dripping, and if it's both sides or one. Also would not provide pictures. All in all, it's typical for a Porsche dealer trying to find work and wanting to do an expensive package deal, for example wanting to replace spark plugs for no reason. So decide for yourself, and if you'd like a second opinion, and want to cover the expense of someone else to look at it, I'll do my best to accommodate. Note: I do not plan to do any of the work they describe, personally I would take it to an independent repair place, but that's up to the next owner. In order to keep the car pristine, I've driven the car less and less, my wife think's I'm crazy and told me to sell it. Please bid seriously, this listing is somewhat expensive. I live 6 miles from the Phoenix airport and can pick you up there, and it's another 6 miles to the motor vehicle department. Driving the car home would be a lot of fun. Thanks
