This bike has a very interesting story. It was bought in May of 1971 from the Honda Cycle Center in Missoula Montana . The bike was ridden for that season and until June of 1972. At that time Don was drafted into the army. He drained the fuel and pulled the battery. Then put the bike in his parents carriage house. Went and did a two year tour in Vietnam. When he got back home in August of 1974 he bought plates for it but never a battery or fuel .Off to collage a job and life . There the bike sat, not run since June of 1972 until I found it with a quarter inch of dust on it and brought it back to life. Put a new battery and pulled the carbs to make sure all was in order, valve adjustment, Change the oil, two kicks and it ran like a top. Rode it around the neighborhood. All the gears are good, clutch feels new, ,high/low beam both brake light switches and the horn are good. The paint is very good for original paint. The mufflers have no holes no dents or repairs some surface rust. . The side covers are crack free. I find no dents on any of the body work. The seat has no tears and is soft and flexible. The chrome is great The original tires are in good shape and show no checking. The only damage I could find is the bezel around the tachometer. Perhaps some thing fell on it. Front fender paint is not great. The bike as a whole has almost no rust and I believe it to be 100 percent original. Clean and clear Montana tittle issued in May of 1971. This is the nicest original Sl350 I have seen. Would be a super easy restore but I like it the way it is. Thanks and good luck
