I BOUGHT THIS CAR ABOUT 26 YEARS AGO. I STARTED OUT BY HAVING IT TAKEN TO A LOCAL (MORGAN HILL CA.) BODY SHOP TO HAVE THE OUTSIDE SMOOTHED AND PRIMED. ONCE THAT WAS DONE WE REMOVED THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION TO BE REBUILT. ONCE THEY WERE PUT BACK TOGETHER, THEY WERE INSTALLED IN THE CAR. AT THAT POINT MY LIFE (JOB) CHANGED AND I HAD NO MORE TIME TO WORK ON IT. I PUT IT IN A LARGE TENT FOR STORAGE AND IT STAYED THERE FOR 20 YEARS. NOW I AM RETIRED AND CAN'T WORK ON IT ANY MORE. LAST WEEK I PUT GAS IN IT AND IT STARTED. I DROVE IT AROUND TO THE FRONT OF OUR HOUSE WHERE I AM CLEANING IT IN PREPARATION FOR IT'S SALE. EBAY HAS BEEN VERY GOOD TO US IN THE LAST FEW YEARS. I HOPE THAT ONE OF YOU EBAYERS WANTS A CLASSIC VEHICLE LIKE THIS. OVER THE NEXT WEEK, I WILL BE PUTTING MORE PICTURES OF THE CAR AND ALL OF THE COMPONENTS I HAVE STORED AWAY. If this is a problem for you, I will assist in canceling your bid with no penalty to you. I have just tried to add seven more pictures. There are three pictures that show all the chrome, stainless, lights, accessories and the new (25 years ago) convertible top. There is one picture of the front of the car There is another picture of the back of the car There are two pictures showing the door panels (they are still very dirty). I will try to get them cleaner for another picture if Ebay will let me. I will be investigating the convertible top mechanism tomorrow. It is all there and I need to see how it works after 20 years of sitting.
