0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false Ok folks, up for auction is a 1947 Ford firetruck. Overall, its pretty solid. Don’t have much info on it other than it came from Oklahoma. Its got a water tank and a pump connected to a PTO. It has the original Ford flathead V8 in it but the plugs have been out of it for some time so I’m assuming the motor needs some attention or replacement. The tires are old but hold air well enough to move it with relative ease and it’ll need to be towed on a flat bed. The front end is off of it but other than the hardware and bolts, it appears to all be there. Fenders, inner fenders, hood, grill, core support and radiator tie bar. There also a pic of some other parts it comes with which I assume is front end bracing, headlights, a couple of engine parts, fan, carb etc…It has a neat old spot light that mounts in the front fender and a 6 volt siren/light on the roof. Not a lot of rust on it and wouldn’t be a bad resto job. Floor pans feel pretty solid and there is very little rust through on the body. I’m not sure what chassis this is, 1.5 ton, or 2 ton maybe but its got a pretty serious undercarriage under it. The doors open and close well. The motor appears to be complete and all there so it might be a good candidate for a rebuild but I cant say for sure. No title on this one but we can provide you with a bill of sale. This would be a neat parade car or rat rod, sky is the limit on this one. Not sure how many miles are on this one.
