I'm selling my 2004 Volvo S40 T5 because I'm moving across the country and can't bring it with me. This is such a fun car that just needs a little TLC. I bought it in Kansas in 2010 and used it mainly for commuting to/from work. It's a perfect car for summer time drives with the sunroof open. ConditionThe car is good condition overall but needs a few repairs. The body is excellent condition, no major dings or scratches. The leather seats were just cleaned and conditioned, there are no tears/rips in any of the seats. New shocks/struts:About a month ago, the front end started making noises when going over bumps/uneven surfaces so I recently took it to PepBoys and a nearby Volvo dealership for diagnostics checks. They said that all four struts and shocks need to be replaced. I haven't driven it since then because I rely on my bike in the summer. Catalytic converter:The Volvo dealership recommended replacing the catalytic converter, which is causing the check engine light to be on. Power locks:Rear passenger door doesn't lock/unlock with the power locks or remote key. The power windows work and it opens/shuts fine but the power lock doesn't work. You can unlock the door by pulling the door handle and lock the door by pushing the lock down.
