This is a 1971 Chevy C10 pickup. It was a one-family owned Texas truck. The original owner passed away in 2003. His son inherited the truck. He said he only drove it a couple thousand miles in the past 11 years. He told me that he believed the paint was original. It looks to me like it might have been repainted approx 25 years ago and is all faded, with the right amount of patina in places. This is a very straight truck. This truck is a 6 cyl, 3 speed on the column, add-on a.c. that is all hooked up. The previous owner told me that all it needed was freon added and it should work. I have not tried it, though. It looks like it's never been in any accidents. It has a little rust in the passenger side outer rocker. Both cab corners looks like the original owner added bondo. It probably needs to be repatched. The driver side outer rocker appears to be very solid. There is a very small rust spot on the driver side floorboard - very minor. The right inner fender, under the battery, is rusty. Personally, I think it should be changed, but the next owner may have other opinions on it. The truck runs very good, shifts good. It has some play in the steering box. I have a good, used steering box that I will "throw in" for the next owner. The original owner put a metal plate over the wood floor, which is spot-welded in a few places and can be easily removed. I'm not sure of the condition of the wood underneath the plate. There is a little bit of rust in the driver's door. This truck has not been jacked with. All of the wiring is in very good condition. All of the lights, horn, radio are in good, working order. The tires appear to be fairly new. **I do not have a Buy It Now. I have a low Reserve.
