Today we have a 1968 Chevy C10 Shortbed Stepside Pickup Project. This truck is an excellent project for someone. Truck has been off the road since 1990. In 1989 the previous owner rebuilt the 327?? engine that is currently in the truck. The engine ran good for a few days but then started to act up, so they removed the valve cover on drivers side and never went back to it. Truck is mostly original except for engine and floor shift. The body on truck will need some work. Rocker panels are completely rusted out and mostly gone. But floors are not bad with just some spots here and there, cab mounts look good too see pics. The bed will need wood slats and need to be redone from sitting outside so long. Chassis looks solid. Front bumper is bent not sure why. Doors and fenders have rust too. Please look at pics, i tried to get pics of as much of the rust as i could. The interior of the truck looks to be original. Original keys still in ignition. Truck has 4 tires that hold air for about a day and 2 front one will go down. Rear seem to hold good. It does roll and steer easily. Truck has all typical rust these trucks have. The rockers an bed areas are worst part about truck as far as rust is concerned. The engine in the truck is stuck and will need rebuild. I was told its a 327, but not sure. Truck has clear NC title not in my name but open. Truck is being sold as a project truck, in non running as is condition. Truck must be paid for in full within 7 days of end of auction and picked up within 60 days to give you time to find transport. I will do my best to assist loading on a trailer.
