Vehicle Detail

By 1973, this was the hottest 'Cuda you could get, as all of the big blocks were gone. This is a very original, unmolested car that I'd call a survivor. It is a genuine "BS" vin code 'Cuda, not a Barracuda. This car is matching numbers (engine and trans are stamped with the car's vin). Car has original fender tag and two build sheets (broadcast sheets) that document the car, and that it is in exactly the same configuration as it left the factory in 1973...same color ("Lemon Twist" yellow), correct wheels, automatic w/ slap stick shifter, console, etc. and still has the original engine and transmission. No A/C or power steering. There are a few non-stock bolt on items on the car and these are the rear spoiler, the carburetor and intake manifold, exhaust headers, and the ignition coil. Car is very nice but not perfect. Some areas need cosmetic attention and attest to the "survivor nature" of this car. The engine bay needs some cleanup and detailing. The trunk floor under the vinyl mat needs some attention as it has some rust there. Also, some areas of interior are beginning to show their age such as seat upholstery seams splitting and the dash appears to be capped. Carpets are newer. Car currently has no radio or speakers installed. The car runs and drives great and is currently tagged and insured. Clean PA title in hand. Mileage is unknown. Title says miles are exempt because of age, which is common on old cars in PA. Odometer works and says 25,xxx. I've always assumed that it's on its second way around. Here's more information prompted by some inquiries that I've gotten on the car... The right front wheel is missing a center cap. I do NOT have it. The bright wheel arch trim is only installed on one wheel opening (the left front), but I DO have the other three trims and they go with the car. There are two (2) Broadcast Sheets that go with this car. Both are shown in the photos of this listing. The first sheet (the intact one) was found in the rear seat cushion back. The second sheet (the non-intact one) was found in shreds under the front passenger seat. It was pieced together using the intact sheet as a guide. I will provide the buyer with both originals and a color photo copy of each that I used for reference. Also included with the car is the original owner's manual package with various supplementary inserts, an original sales brochure for the car from 1973, and two (2) sets of keys. As indicated in the terms of the auction, I will require a deposit of US $500.00 within 48 hours of auction close, and full payment within 10 days of auction close. The car must be picked up within 14 days of auction close unless other specific arrangements are made with me (the seller). Any other questions, please feel free to ask.
