Awesome edition to any family or collection and is an ideal project car!! This beautiful Porsche Targa 911 was built 11/77, and is a classic representation of late 70’s early 80’s technology, craftsmanship, and innovation. This 911 was at one point among the most prolific supercars of its time and was an awesome edition to the air cooled icons from Porsche (Germany). The 2.7 liter straight 6 cylinder engine was not without its issues for this model year, as this particular vehicle is no exception. This example of automotive genius up for auction, has been a loved member of my family for the past 18+ years; That, for lack of a better phrase, has taken a back seat. My father has aspired to revive this vehicle to its former glory, but has been working to take care of other more pressing matters. It is up for sale so that a new home may bring this 911 Targa to its original and iconic self. This car is in project like condition and is being sold as-is. Solid panels very little rust. Most if not all aspects and parts may need to be replaced or refurbished at the buyers discretion. Examples include paint, tires, engine etc. The engine runs, but leaks oil profusely and may not be road worthy. Rebuild suggested.Odometer reading may not reflect actual miles.I Have the a/c compressor, I am not sure if it works but it will be included. A list of a few things that have been looked at and worked: Brake calipers have been professionally rebuilt (are installed). 4 Never used Zimmermann drilled rotors (come with car and are not installed.)The gas tank was professionally rebuilt and is like new.
