This Model Vette was supposedly the LAST year of Corvette Production. To my knowledge 1 (one) 1983 Vette was produced, which is supposedly at the GM Museum. The Out-cry from Vette lovers was very loud, & GM started production with the 1984 C-4 Series. This Vette is well Maintained by a retired Service Station Owner, & has 89,620 miles on it. The Trans was re-built @ 72,500. The Cam & Lifters were replaced @ 76,000. All Pads, Calipers, & Rotors were replaced @ 85,000. Tire Life remaining is 50 to 55 %. We have several other Oldies, & use this Vette approximately 300/400 miles per year. Remainder of time it sits in the Barn. The Pads lying on the Trunk Lid are for protecting the T-TOPS when they are stored in the rear Cargo Area All questions will be honestly answered !
