Very rare 280SE Convertible Low Grill, complete engine overhaul recently completed by 3rd generation mercedes shop ($10,000 spent on engine overhaul, still under warranty), automatic transmission, power windows, power brakes, power steering, Behr Air Conditioning, the chrome is bright and nice (not new or show quality), Light Green Metallic 861 exterior (paint is gorgeous), interior is virtually new (dark green), the wood has been refinished and is beautiful (one piece is currently being re-veneered), recently purchased new convertible top with the correct Haatz German Sonnenland, and matching convertible leather boot (niether have been installed yet), brand new full carpet set, new trunk mat, Tires are very good. Overall, this is an extremely nice driver and only partially restored, not a fully restored car. It is very solid. There is some evidence of past rust repair in small areas - only a few small spots, and each spot that I have found, new metal was welded in, not just covered up. There are a few minor items that need attention such as, it needs a new knob on the defrost switch, and the original Becker radio needs attention. There are very few of these cars out there, and it is hard to find one that has not been completely restored and over $200k. I do not know the mileage of the vehicle.
