I purchased this car from the original owner in September 2000 with 28,000 original miles. The car was completely stock. In 2008 I decided to upgrade the performance, handling and look of the car. I removed the entire drivetrain at my shop and had it all professionally redone. I wanted to pump it up, but I didn’t want it to lose the drivability and ride. Motor was blueprinted/balanced with aluminum heads, mild cam, and every internal component upgraded to be bulletproof. Transmission was beefed up with all new components and shift kit. Rear end was rebuilt with 3:73 gears. Engine builder estimated horsepower at about 450. This car was never at the track or raced!I made various suspension upgrades including, Hotchkis front and rear springs, rear upper/lower control arms, and polyurethane body to frame bushings to prevent body roll.I had the paint redone about 2 years ago; it was starting to lose its shine. Finish looks great. I had the bottom leather on driver’s seat replaced as it was starting to crack.I bought this car when I was 34 years old, now I am 48 and I just don’t drive it much.
