1972 Mercedes Benz 350 SL One owner, 39,331 actual miles This is one of the rarest of SL's imported We are offering for sale this 1972 Mercedes Benz 350 SL. This car was lady owned. This car just came out of storage. This is the one you wished you had bought for your better half when you didn't have the money. Now you can fulfill that desire by buying a car that has been maintained, and always garaged. This is a local car to our area. In the need to offer full disclosure, we feel the car will need, a new muffler, as the one currently on the car is showing some rust. The car doesn't sound as though it needs one, but we noticed this. Also, there is some leakage of one brake fitting from sitting. There is no problem with the brakes, but you know the story. The car does show some evidence of paint work on the front area, but no evidence of body repair. Ask whatever questions you like, as we will be as open and realistic as we can. The top is fully functional and we have both of the cranks to operate the top. Starts and runs well. Will drive straight down the road at 60mph. Very smooth ride.
