1969 Mercedes-Benz 250CE 2 door coupe, purchased and driven for its first several years in Germany, then brought back to US by unknown, odometer shows 7000 miles, no way to know how many on it, but it was owned by a doctor in california for many years. Interior is very good shape, chasis is in great shape. Fuel system just went through, including tank renu process by professionals, new fuel pump, filter, and lines. Once clean fuel got to the engine, it started and runs great after sitting approximately eight years in a warehouse. Includes all paperwork, service history, stacks of manuals and workshop manuals. This is a very rare car, not only in the US, but in Germany as well. Known as the straight eight (strich-acht ) and also W114 model. Everything functions and works correctly except for the reverse lights, which I have not dug into yet, but suspect it is the switch on the tranny is loose or unhooked. Tires are good shape. Engine is clean. Leaks a bit of oil after use (three to six drops) and I suspect it leaks a few drops into exhaust, as it smokes until it warms up.
