Having said all that, The photos are telling of what you should expect to see in person, again, this is a ride anywhere right now bike. Here are the listed current defects that would distinguish it from not being excellent. The front fender is scratched. The cowiling on the right side has scrapes and scratches, the cowling on the right just scratches. The clutch lever is now a shorty. Functional, but a shorty nonetheless. I purchased a new set of brake and clutch levers, here on ebay. They were around 17 bucks, they arrived, they were the wrong ones. I ordered another set, same price, same deal. I wrote to another seller here, he assured me that the ones he has are the proper ones, I just never followed that to its conclusion. My thoughts on the plastics were to remove them and spray them with bedliner, such as Rhinoliner. I have a couple of buddies, one with a KTM the other a BMW who sprayed all of their plastics, not to pose them as rat bikes but for the durability. Off the showroom floor, we rode some together, they are actual adventurists, not occasional like myself. If you split your riding between dirt roads, unimproved trails and roads that begin with I's you may want to consider that effective maintenance free alternative. In the lay down, the rub strip on the front fairing took brunt of the damage. The hard bag in the back kept everything in between up, out of harms way. Wear your helmet, its a good idea.
