Here is a rare and beautiful example of the 1960 Plymouth Fury convertible. It has a rebuilt 361 Golden Commando motor, four barrel carb, dual exhaust, voltage regulator, radiator and water pump. New in 2007 were top, battery, carpet, weatherstripping. The car starts up easily and has a lot of power and speed on the road. It shifts up really well and you can pass someone easily after sitting at a red light. It has power steering and power brakes. The motorized convertible top works perfectly. Speedometer works perfectly and is the unique "thermometer" kind which raises a red chip every five miles of speed you go. The car does not smoke, does not burn oil or coolant. I recently had the sides freshly painted and they are beautiful. Doors open and close as they should. Lips under the doors are clean and still have original black paint on. Rockers have surface powder rust but are excellent. Master brake cylander new in 2013. One new wheel cylander in 2013. Distributor, rotor and wires redone in 2012. Driver's side ball joints new in 2014. Driver's side control arm bushings new in 2014. Chrome and stainless are gorgeous all around and look almost new. Trunk has rust and small holes, plus two stainless patches. Frame has hole between driver's front wheel and bumper. Brakes good but one rear wheel squeaks sometimes with hard braking. Plastic back window is hard to zip up--it's so tight it won't go around first corner (but plastic is in excellent condition). This car originally had a 45 RPM record player in it, but the previous owner took it out. Radio still spells out HI-FI. If interested, I can do special "Buy It Now" listings for the original shop manual, front suspension parts I never got around to installing and as well as spare hubcap. Summer cruising is about to start...don't get left out. Turn more heads than anyone else on the road in this rare and hot car. Any questions, please ask before bidding.
