Vehicle Detail

This Goldwing is all original, no restoration of paint etc., has low mileage of 32,500, accessory saddlebags and is the first year of the added instrumentation cluster on the tank and factory windscreen. Purchased in New Mexico about 7 years ago, it has absolutely NO pitting or oxidation or rust on chrome or aluminum parts. The only change is a replacement exhaust which has a slightly louder tone which is actually quite pleasant. They are mufflers- not noisy. Tires are in XLNT condition, about 85% tread left. This bike has always been garaged and well maintained. Runs smooth and powerful. Slight smoke on cold startup when parked on sidestand as valve seals have likely hardened over the years, but when warm no smoking or oil consumption. Battery is about 18 mos old and still quite strong, I wouldn't hesistate to get on this bike and go for a 1,000 mile ride. These early bikes are the renknowned smooth runners that established the Goldwing name as the ultimate touring bikes for decades to come. Only blem on bike is a scratch on the black fuel tank (located beneath seat) which is difficult to see, but there nonetheless. Is this bike perfect, not at all, but I would say you would be hard pressed to fine one in finer original condition. It is a lovely vintage Goldwing that will provide years of good service. Can help deliver if going West as I'm headed back to Colorado in a week.
