All original 1980 Scout II Turbo Diesel, one of the last ever made (September 1980). 4x4 with 4 spd. Turbo diesel, tilt wheel, AC, power steering, power brakes, lockable center console, bucket seats, AM/FM, folding rear seat. Extra heavy duty towing with Reese hitch and trailer brakes. I would drive this Scout from here in NC to California or any point in between as it is a very reliable daily driver. Rides and drives like a Cadillac. Gave my wife and I 27.3 mpg last year on a trip to Charleston, SC (500 miles). Lost job and had back surgery or would fix it up myself. Needs rocker panels and has several dents. AC needs charging-2 cans of original R-12 freon included. Speedo cable broke at 115K miles, actual mileage unknown. Fuel gauge works only sometimes. Lights, rheostat, Hi-Lo, temp and oil pressure gauges all work. Turn signals don't work; brake lights work but jury-rigged. New brake booster-brakes work great and a new set of pads included with the sale. New exhaust. Engine runs cool always. Smokes for a while but clears up once driven. Does burn some oil. Power steering works fine but leaks. All windows and doors function properly. Heater works great. New tires (2000 miles), original hubcaps. Spare rim and original lock included. Wipers work, charging gauge works. 4x4 works great. Original sale papers and International Harvester line setting ticket included. Thank you for your interest and good luck!
