You are bidding on a Manx style buggy. Was told that this was a original Manx and when was rebuilt, the badges were removed. Cannot be 100% sure. This is titled as a 1962 dune buggy. It has a nice paint job, burgundy in color, with silver and gold metallic. You cannot see the metallic in the pictures. All gauges work with working lights, blinkers, taillights, break lights. As you can see it has a double roll bar with middle bar also for extra protection. The hubs have been drilled for a GM bolt pattern it does not have adapters. The engine is a 1641 DP with 110 cam with two qt oil sump with early model VW trans all tires are in good shape wheels shine nice paint job is a 8/10 due to few rock chips this is a two seater could easily be made into a four with backseat as you can see by pictures the floor pan is in great shape I am going to undercoat the pan since I've taken pictures to put on here. did not want anything to look like it was covered up. the buggy runs and drives great any questions feel free to call 270-816-2526 the guy that built this said it was an original Manx do not have proof but the body lines match up with them thanks Mike On May-08-14 at 15:16:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Bidders with a zero (0) feedback will have their bid retracted. The motor has no inplay at all.it is ready to get in and go.
