1986 Jeep CJ7 4x4 with 34,990 original miles. It is a base model but includes the following options:--Charcoal Metallic exterior paint --Black denim bucket seats--3.31 axle ratio--4.2L inline 6-cylinder engine--5 speed manual with overdrive--Draw bar--Power tilt steering--Tinted rear windows--Styled steel wheels (white in color with blue pinstripe--Hardtop with hard doors--Tachometer and rally clock--Floor carpet--Cassette--Manual locking hubs--Spare tire and original jack--Bimini top Everything works as it should (including the clock and tachometer). The Jeep does not leak any fluids and drives straight down the road. It shifts in and out of four-wheel drive smoothly. The exterior of the Jeep (excluding the top) was repainted the factory color at some point by the original owner. There is some slight bubbling in a couple areas (have to look close to see it), but no rust coming through. The Jeep has the natural CJ waves along the sides and there are rivet dimples in the rear quarter panels. There is a raised area the size of a quarter on the upper frame of the driver's door and a scratch along the edge of the driver's door that I have pictured. There is one small spot rusted through in the floor on the driver's side and a spot rusted through near the tailgate (both pictured). Note that the picture of the driver's side rust appears to show three holes, but two are the factory drain holes with the plugs not inserted. The passenger's side floor is clean. The vinyl along the left edge of the driver's seat is cracked, but not ripped through. The carpet, passenger's seat, and rear seat look new. The Jeep is missing an antenna, but the wiring is there. The following have been replaced recently:--Battery--Shocks--Muffler--Steering stabilizer--Oil changed I am the third owner of this Jeep. It is a blast to drive and I was surprised how well it handled (for a Jeep) at 75 mph on the highway. The original owner owned this Jeep through 2012 and lived in central Indiana. He drove it two miles to work every day, hence the low miles. The second owner was a friend of the original owner and also lived in central Indiana. I purchased the Jeep earlier this year and with two kids in carseats, I was naive to think I would be able to drive it, hence the reason for selling. I have a copy of the original window sticker and owner's manual. I have a clear Illinois title in hand. Please note that in Illinois, due to the vehicle's age, the mileage is shown as exempt on the title.
