Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1953 Chevy Carryall/Suburban, that runs. This vechile has most of the orginal wiring and is in good condition. It has a 6v generator that works and a 6v optima battery. The headlights work, taillight works, the fog lamps have new bulbs but do not work and these are factory. All the dash lights work the blinkers do not work, and the factory deluxe heater dose work, and the wipers work but the switch dose not. The interior is about 80% complete it is missing the middle bench, it has the rear bench but is missing the bottom springs. As you can see the front floors are gone, when I bought the truck it was missing the trans cover, added the street signs to cover up the holes. The rear wood is very solid but the rubber cover is cracking and coming up. It also has the stock radio but dose not work. The interior also has a rare curtain rod. I installed a new master cylinder and the brakes work great. The engine is a 216 straight 6 and runs. The carburetor was rebuilt, new distributor, cap, points, condenser, spark plugs, it runs good. New exhaust has been installed single pipe with a stock muffler. The radiator hold water and the truck hold temp. The exterior paint is original, the body is not all beat up, and has very little rot. Most of the glass is there, the two pieces that were missing have been replaced with Plexiglas. The only glass that is missing is the driver side front door. This truck is very original and is not missing a lot of parts, it is a great starting point for someone. I do not have a pink slip for the vehicle, but I have the right documents filled out from the original owner. That's right, one owner. Thank you for reading and good luck.
