For sale is my 1979 Jeep CJ7. It has the original 304 V8 engine which runs great. It starts up on the first time, and has new wires and a newer battery. The car runs and drives great, it has a 4 speed manual transmission with a good clutch. The brakes were recently gone over, which are power brakes. The suspension on the car is good, it was lifted to give it the high stance as seen in the pictures. Nice 33 inch tires with good tread. It is equipped with an 8,000 lb winch although the car is not used for off-roading. The car was used since new by an older gentleman who put very few miles on the car, which is why it still only has approximately 50,000 miles. The car has power steering and handles well but has a squeaky belt when turning at sharp angles. The car has dual exhaust and sounds great. All the gauges and switches work except for the gas gauge which recently stopped working. Purchase includes a hi lift jack located underneath the windshield. The car comes with a hard top, bikini top, and two sets of hard doors. The hard top and bikini top are in good condition, the set of doors have some rust at the bottom, refer to pictures. The set of red doors are from a later Jeep model, I have the latch needed for proper closing but it needs to be installed. The original set, however, are 100% functional. The body of the Jeep has minimal rust. The interior is in really good condition, the front seats look like new. Everything is in tact and complete. This is a great Jeep with very little work needed. It is a great driver and a really fun toy. The bikini top is great for the warm weather coming, and the 4WD is great for snowy days. Overall a great car. Make me an offer. -Jim
