2001 Porsche 991/996 Convertible CabrioletBlack exterior/ Black leather interior / Black convertible rooftop This car has been loved and cared for its entire life, and spent most of its time in California except for 2009-2011 when it accompanied me to Massachusetts. I am the 3rd owner, and the car was regularly serviced at dealers and independent Porsche specialist shops. The car performed very well until last month when it started overheating @ 90,266 miles. Mechanic diagnosed either a broken water pump or broken oil heat exchanger, and suspected that the engine is likely damaged, and should be replaced or rebuilt. Cooling system should also be flushed due to oil/water mixture. The car starts and drives for short distances, but will need to be repaired before it can be used again. Car is therefore sold "as-is". I considered repairing the car but decided to buy the newer version instead.
