today we have up for auction a Chevy Chevelle Malibu SS car for restoration .The car was purchased in pieces in rubber maid buckets we started restoring this car and it just isn't ever going to get completed here. physical description : frame: so far the frame has been sandblasted, surface rust present and needs acid etched and coated. body: there has been body work prior to painting which includes floor pans, trunk pans and rear quarter panels. After all panels were replaced, the car was taken to bare metal. Multiple steps were completed to bring it up to paintable condition. the body work was done under the supervision of northwest technical Vo tech auto collision instructor the front brakes have been updated to disc brakes .Brake boosters present but needs calipers It was painted in professional down draft paint booth and most of color sanding and buffing has been completed. two flaws are present are as follows 1. a scratch on the passenger rear quarter , please see photo below 2. passenger side trunk hinge is broken. as you can see in the photos , most of the pieces are here to complete restoration , we also have a 327 rebuildable short block, and a 2 speed power glide transmission that also need rebuilt.
