1969 firebird ,originally a two barrel 350 with ac.engine was changed to a pontiac 400. i also still have the original engine. the air conditioning system is in boxes but complete and working before removed to start work on the car.(more room to work) the drivers side floor pan was replaced as well as the quarter skins and drivers rocker. the inner wheelhouses in the rear were great when the old quarter skins were removed and still are.the front fenders have rust in the usual spots and can be patched and or replaced. so what you have here is a 1969 firebird with a solid body and solid floors and quarters and trunk floor that still has paint in places and shock towers that are perfect so please dont beat me up with questions that are in my description. the engine is a 72 vintage and has a professional products hurricane intake that was port matched and a new 750cfm quick fuel carburetor and a professionally spun and dialed in HEI distributor and MSD ignition module with rev limiter (not programmed) with ported 6x heads and arp headbolts ,rocker studs and comp springs. the camshaft is a comp cams custom grind hydraulic 286AH-8 with .489 int and .500 exhaust and 108degrees of lobe seperation with a silent gear drive. the bearings are clevite and the rings are moly. the transmission is a turbo 350 that was newly built a month ago and has no miles on it . it has a custom built revtec converter 3600rpm stall with burstplate and 3/8 steel secondary flexplate, red alto frictions and bands and kolene steels fairbanks stage two valve body kit all new bushings and pump hardened input shaft and reaction carrier and output shaft along with an adjustable modulator. the driveshaft has been balance tested but needed no weight and new moroso comp universal joints have been installed the driveshaft was left untouched like the rest of the undercarriage to make a better sleeper out of the car. the rear end is a 8.5 10 bolt with alloy usa axles and a minispool along with 3.90 gears and all new bearings and seals and brakeshoes with a perfect launch cover to keep the insides inside where they belong.the suspension is ciol in front and leaf in the rear. the front springs are 2inch drop and the upper and lower control arms are tubular and have 1 inch dropped spring buckets the front shocks are gabriel the rear springs are 1.5 drop leaf springs with alloy floating rear bushings and also have gabriel shocks so this car is very low but still has 4 plus inches of clearance. the interior is complete and will be installed in the car before the buyer picks up. it was out so the floors could be viewed clearly. The hood is new also. the whole concept of this car was to build a very angry sleeper and other than the body work its there. This is a very solid car and great project and would be easy to finish if you have more time than me. getting rid of this car sucks and i dont want to however i am spread far too thin and i might have one day a month to mess with it. so if you want a project to have some fun with this is it, finish it up and go make your money back between stoplights. if you know what the parts are worth and what the car is worth you know what im going to expect for the final price. no tire kickers please and make offers please do not ask how much i will take i can negotiate and i will consider all reasonable offers. payment of cash is required no checks of any kind will be accepted.i have tons of pictures if you want more pictures i will text them to you message me with your number or email. i will ship within 300+ miles of my home for an additional fee to cover fuel and time. thanks and Happy bidding
