Selling a 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe 2 door model. This truck has the Vortec 5.7 engine/4l60e transmission, 4WD (electronic push button), tow package, tailgate style rear hatch, cloth seats, power driver seat, has 3.42 gearing, engine/transmission coolers, and more! The Good: I have just recently put new brakes (pads on front - drums, shoes, wheel cylinders on rear), new battery (with cutoff switch), aftermarket stereo with sub (needs box, amp), Magnaflow X series muffler with turn-downs (sounds good, not too loud), did the SFI to MPFI fuel injection upgrade, new acc. belt, new wipers, alignment done, coolant system flush, new air filter, has been leveled, new 02-water temp-TPS-air temp sensors, new front wheel hubs. It does not burn oil and the transmission fluid is candy apple red. Never had any problems with it starting or over heating. Stock exhaust system can go with the truck. Have a cold air intake that can also go. The interior of the truck looks great. Just had a complete new dash (no cracks!) installed by a body shop as well. Ready to drive home! The stock exhaust and cold air kit are located at my shop in Athens, GA, but transfer will be worked out upon sale. The Bad: Needs 4WD serviced (works sometimes, sometimes doesn't), rear end needs service, the tires need to be replaced, AC needs to be charged. You would be hard pressed to find another 2 door Tahoe with this low of mileage for this price. The fuel injection upgrade helped tremendously with gas mileage (18-20+ hwy). All around great truck. It has been my daily driver for the past year. I really wish I could hang on to this truck, but I am selling because I need the money for school and have 2 cars. The truck comes with a clear NC title. Shipping/pickup: I would rather the vehicle be picked up for an in-person transaction.
