Engine was rebuilt 10 years and 10k miles ago. Transmission was rebuilt at the same time. No shakes, no rattles...super nice driving El Camino. Any oil stains you may see on the ground are not from this vehicle. Most of these El Caminos have beat up beds, gobs of bondo holding them together, ect. This is not that truck. It's very true the old notion "You get what you pay for". This is a super nice truck. The only thing I would do with this truck is get rid of the shifter. I would reinstall the original console.
