We are selling our gorgeous, low mileage 1980 Trans Am. Cameo white exterior, navy blue interior with the Custom Trim Group in hobnail velour. Runs, looks and drives great but sits in the garage too much to justify keeping it… The floors and trunk are solid and original. The motor was changed from the original 4.9 to a 6.6 Pontiac 400 when the car was almost new. Even the shaker hood decals were changed to 6.6 when the motor was upgraded. The 6.6 was no longer available when this car was built. It was purchased new by a woman who wanted a Trans Am with more power than was available in 1980 but wanted the car to be as close to original as possible. In addition, the car was ordered without any of the power options that would draw power from the motor; A/C, power windows & locks etc. Options include Tilt Steering Wheel, Removable Hatch Roofs and original Rusty Jones rustproofing option from the dealer. Service records and receipts go with the car. Fully documented by Pontiac Historic Services and includes a copy of the factory build-sheet and original window sticker.
