For sale an extremely rare burgundy 1993 Volvo 240 classic with only 91,000 miles on it #479 of 1600. Only 1600 240’s produced in 1993 were Classics. 800 classics were wagons and 800 were sedans, out of the 800 sedans and 800 wagons 400 of each were green and 400 were burgundy. This was the last batch of 240’s produced and undoubtedly the Holy Grail of the 240 series. I have been a Volvo technician for 32 years, I sold this Volvo when it was new to a very good friend of mine, and she was at retirement age when I sold it to her. No kids, no pets,no cracks in the dash, non smoker and not even a butt print in the back seat. I have serviced this vehicle since the day it was new and it’s as clean today as it was the day she drove it home. Seven years ago she passed away and 5 years later I bought the car back, my reason for selling it is because I just cant bring myself to drive it like a normal car, it’s too clean more like a show car, I cant take it anywhere without worrying about someone hitting it. I won’t let the kids eat in it, I won’t let the wife drive it, it pretty much just goes out on sunny days otherwise it s parked in the garage under a car cover. The pictures don’t do it justice. If you are looking for a Volvo 240 Classic look no more because I doubt you will ever find another one like this, only 1600 ever built worldwide and I cant find one like it for sale anywhere, and to find any 240 Volvo for sale with less than 95,000 miles on it is practically impossible.
