1985 CJ7 Renegade with 89,000 original miles. T-176 4 speed, PS, PB, AC. Full hard doors as shown in one of the pictures, Best top soft top in perfect shape windows are clean and clear. Rust free Texas Jeep in excellent original condition. As you can see in the pictures, the floors, fender wells, and undercarriage are amazingly clean. No indication that this Jeep ever spent a day outside of the garage as the original dash pad and seats have no cracks or tears and show very little wear. The hood has been repainted, and the remainder of the Jeep appears to retain it's original paint. The body is extremely straight. There are a few dings upon very close inspection, but could easily and inexpensively be removed by a PDR guy if so desired. There are two areas where the paint is not perfect - front fender near the flare, and passenger rear corner near the spare tire carrier. I can provide any additional pictures as needed. There has been a Weber carb installed, other that that the mechanicals are completely stock. Power steering, power brakes, and factory AC. AC unit blows, but not cold, compressor will kick in when AC is turned on. Would be an easy repair if AC is desired. Drives, shifts, steers, and stops very well. Suspension and steering are nice and tight. Jeep could use a little fine tuning on the Weber, as it lags a little when accelerating when fully warmed up. Wipers, horn, blinkers, lights all work. Last inspected and registered in 2005. Since then it's been stored in an airplane hangar and used as a run around vehicle at an airstrip. This Jeep looks like is has 20,000 miles, not 89,000 and will stand it's ground next to $25,000 low mileage CJ-7s like the ones offered by Collins Bros Jeeps, etc. Feel free to call me with any questions, or to set up a time to inspect the vehicle.
