This car operates at all levels without problem. It drives just as good as it looks. The photos are untouched show the car as it actually appears. Yes, as you can imagine it has been excellently maintained, and has most of its documents to prove it. This Rambler has been owned by me since 2005. Immediately after its purchase, the car was given a no-holds-barred overhaul with any and everything it needed for me to drive the car home, about 400 miles! Everything was refreshed to make it a sound, reliable car, eliminating any concerns or worries. The car was already in very good shape when I bought it. Things such as starter, generator, water pump were all replaced with new items. The seats still have their original plastic covers remaining on the upper section. the lower seat bottoms were recovered when I got the car. (SMS interiors has the original material to redo seat bottoms) Just performed >routine maintenance with oil change, lube all points of car according to factory Tech Service Manual. Brakes bled, complete tune-up and new fuel filter. Car sounds just as good as when new. Fit and finish detail is high-quality throughout. Radio works, has factory dual speaker option (rear deck mount) with volume adjust knob at center bottom of dash. I believe the rear needs a new speaker. There was a replacement in the trunk when I got it, and its still there. Radio does work and sounds great with just the front speaker. The radio antennae is a Rambler trunk mount type. Has the push-button transmission that is strong and works as it should. Tires excellent. Rambler Kleenex dispenser. All exterior lights work as does the interior dome light. The gas gauge recently stopped working (part/s are available for repair or replacement) Carburetor (WCD) is the optional carter two-barrel. The air cleaner canister is the oil bath type. Brakes are strong and work without drama. Driveline from engine to transmission thru torque tube to rear end all work very well and as they should. Steering and front-end suspension need no attention. In short, the car is ready to simply turn the key and drive, knowing you have one of the very best fully operating examples that still exists.
