1988 HONDA ELITE 250 - VINTAGE CLASSIC CH250 SCOOTER - NO RESERVE!! OK, they don't make 'em like this anymore! Here's a rare opportunity to own a classic vintage 1988 Honda Elite 250 maxi-scooter with only 7139 miles on it! And this thing hauls ass, too... I had it up to 70mph one time, and it might have gone even faster, but, to tell you the truth, I chickened out, and I really just rode it around the local area at a much more reasonable 30-40mph or so. (If you're not familiar with the Honda Elite 250 you can read all about it when you click right HERE) It's in great shape, never been crashed or dumped, and it comes with some extras, too, like a SlipStreamer windscreen, a box trunk on the back, an extra-long Kryptonite U-Lock, a scooter cover, and a custom license plate frame that says "ONE LESS SUV," plus it comes with the original Owner's Manual, AND it even has the little Honda toolkit that originally came with it, too! AND, if you use "Buy It Now," I'll throw in a pair of brand-new tires for it, a $120 value, absolutely FREE! There's only one little problem with it... it won't start! It was running just fine, perfect, when I put it up for storage in my garage about three years ago, and I kept the battery on a Battery Tender charger all that time, but I guess the gas in there must have gone bad over all those years! So, I put in some fresh gas, and added a can of "Start Your Engine" additive to it, and it turns over, ka-chunka, ka-chunka, ka-chunka, ka-chunka, but it just won't "catch" and start up! But, if you're a small engine tinkerer kind of guy, you can probably start it up in no time, or you can bring it in to a shop and I'm sure they'll get it going for you for a few bucks. YOU MUST READ THIS: Terms Of Sale: This scooter is being sold "as is, where is," with no warranty expressed or implied, and it must be picked up by the buyer (or by a motorcycle shipping company, like HaulBikes.com) in Sarasota, Florida, AND, because this is a "No Reserve" auction, it must be PAID IN FULL BEFORE PICKUP, no exceptions! I'll say that again: it must be PAID IN FULL BEFORE PICKUP, no exceptions! You can bring a Certified Check or Money Order for the balance due with you when you come to pick it up, but do NOT think that you're going to show up here with some cash and start to haggle with me over the price and get it for less, because that AIN'T going to happen, my friend! Here's what IS going to happen: 1) you win the auction, 2) you pay for it, 3) you pick it up, and that's it! Oh, and PLEASE don't buy this scooter if you plan to chop it up for parts! There's already too many parts for these listed on eBay, and you should only buy this scooter if you're going to love it and RIDE it, OK? OK!! --------------------On Apr-29-14 at 09:08:43 PDT, seller added the following information: OK, now that there's a bid on it, the "Buy It Now" feature has gone away! I don't know why, I'll try to fix it, but, I guess that this is a straight-up auction now, so, good luck!!On Apr-29-14 at 09:26:11 PDT, seller added the following information: OK, eBay tells me I cannot re-instate the "Buy It Now" feature once there's a bid placed on the item in a "No Reserve" auction! Who knew? So, good luck with your bidding and if you want to buy those brand-new tires when you pick up the scooter, bring an extra $50 bucks with you for the pair of them!On Apr-30-14 at 17:24:33 PDT, seller added the following information: OK, so, the tires mentioned above are Bridgestone, the Molas 16 and Molas 17, brand new, never been mounted on a wheel. I see them listed online for about $50 bucks each, so this way you'd get 2-for-1, or $50 for the pair. On May-03-14 at 10:25:20 PDT, seller added the following information: OK, as suggested by someone in the "Questions" area, below, if the final winning bid price goes over the former 'Buy It Now' price of $1060 bucks, I'll throw in those tires for FREE, so go for it!
