Selling to highest bidder at no reserve. You are bidding on a low mileage 1982 Porsche 911SC in classic Guards red. Less than 74,000 miles. Car starts up right away, keeps the battery power strong even during longer parking periods. Engine pulls very strong and shifts easy through all five gears, clutch does not slip. Brakes brake good. Very nice original Porsche 16 inch Fuchs wheels. The car was coming from the south and it does not look it was ever driven in snow or ever got in contact with salt. The car is all original except one repaint. Paint is still shiny but was unprofessionally touched up on a few spots, the clear coat is flaky. You cannot really see it on the pictures. I was going to do the necessary repaint but need to divert my funds towards another family vehicle. The decklid release cable is stuck and should be replaced. Interior is a rare leather interior including dash. Driver seat that is currently installed is a not so nice Recaro sport seat but I will give to the buyer an all original Porsche 911 SC driver seat that will match the passenger seat. Howver this seat will need to be recovered. Black carpets are all original and nice. For the pictures I removed the floor mats so the all original floors can be seen. Headliner on sunroof is a bit bubbly but any interior guy can tighten this up. Door jams are all original and still have the factory production stickers. I took off the wheels and started to clean the wheel housings. It looks absolute spectacular. There was never any disgusting black undercoating sprayed on the car and it basically looks still brand new as you can see from the pictures. This is original and not repainted. Front trunk looks very nice and original as well. Very clean with the original manufacturing wax still in place. Front pan is very clean and shows the original paint as well. For the pictures I removed the spare tire and the trunk carpet. Engine starts right up and pulls strong but I removed the large air hoses and was going to install new nice ones. Never got to it but they are only a few dollars. The rubber straps to tighten the air cleaner box need to be replaced. All in all a very honest and good driving original 911 that needs some cosmetic work to be a super nice one. Car can be driven right away. Once you take care of this, this will be a stunning looking low mileage 911 SC. The car is being sold “as is – where is”.
