For sale is a one owner 2005 Volkswagen Golf TDI four door hatchback. It runs and drives 100%, is very fuel efficient and is being sold with no reserve. The 1.9L four cylinder turbo charged diesel engine purrs along without a miss, smoke or overheat. No "check engine" or warning lights of any kind. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly with plenty of clutch. The brakes, steering and suspension seem good. No exhaust leaks. The exterior has a few issues. You can see by the pictures that the front, left side and rear are all in good condition with no major dings. The right side is "cosmetically challenged". The doors open and close with no problem but the first thing needed is a side view mirror. No windshield cracks. The lights and lenses are bright with no cracks. The tires have about 25% tread (see pic). The interior is grey carpet and cloth seats. There are no holes, rips or wear areas however the interior could use a good cleaning. This is the way it was traded at the local Volkswagen Dealer. All the power options such as windows, cruise control, locks, etc. work as designed. The heat is hot and the AC is cold. There is a factory sound system with CD. Despite the cosmetic issue, this Golf rides like new. We have the original owner's manual and window sticker which shows $18K when new. There are absolutely no current mechanical problems and no indication of any impending issues. The new owner will be able to drive home, with confidence, no matter where they live. This one owner vehicle is being sold by a Maryland Used Car Dealer.
