**Pick up only on May 4, Sunday, before 6pm. Although it is a 2007 I bought this motorcycle new off the showroom floor in the summer of 2009. I was active when I bought it but retired military now. I had a 2004 V-Strom 1000 before this one so you know I believe in these bikes. This bike has always been up, not even fallen over on the kidkstand. If you do not know the V-Strom it is a very powerful V-2 with water cooling, auto choke, etc. It is also very easy to do minor maintenance on. I have never done anything to this motorcycle except routine maintenance. The pictures show that it is dirty, because it is. I am working out of state now and do not have the time to ride it or give it the proper care it needs. It is time to give it a new home. There is NOTHING mechanically wrong with this bike. It does need a new chain and gears in the near future. It also could use a tune up and air filter. The front tire is about 80% and the back is approximately 50%. I have some parts, i.e., oil filter, air filter, plugs, spare windscreen, and other stuff. It all goes with it. Again, I am retired military, one owner and only rider. I will not deceive or lie to you. You will be very pleased with this bike. Also, I am 6'4" and barely stand flat footed on it. It is a very tall dual sport bike. I love driving it in the DFW area because I can see the traffic with the seat height so high. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time due to my circumstances.
