1974 Honda CB

Up for sale is a one owner CB750K4 in nice original condition that I am listing for a friend. Owner purchased this bike in 1974 and refers to it as his "engagement ring". The couple that owned this decided it was a better idea to buy a motorcycle instead of a ring. The owner is a bit reluctant to sell but realizes it might be time to let this one go. Bike appears to be all original except for a few minor changes. Points have been converted to Dyna electronic ignition. Original mirrors replaced with a bar end mirror. Handlebar grips are the GranTurismo style. Oil pressure gauge has been added. The bike starts and runs great. Shift through all gears and accelerates well. No hiccups or hesitations. Ready to gas and go. Brakes work well. Mufflers and exhaust are in great shape. They do have a blemish here and there but nothing serious. Baffles are still in the mufflers. Wheels are good but do have a bit of rust. Front fender is nice but has a small dent right right at the top of it. Seat is pretty much perfect with no tears. Speedometer works but the tach is a little lazy. It takes a while for it to react to rpm changes. No cracks in the sidecovers and the paint is in nice shape. Tank has nice original paint with no dents but a couple of little scratches. All lights and blinkers work. Horn works. Electric start fires the bike right up. AGM battery in good working order. Original owners manual under the seat. Tires are in fair condition and a bit weather checked. Paint on some parts of the engine has worn or flaked off in areas. This bike is titled to the engine number rather than the frame number. This was VERY common in Wisconsin during the 70's. It is a valid and clear title in the owners name. Overall this is a great classic bike that has been well maintained and ridden regularly over the years.
