1978 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II *** LEFT HAND DRIVE EURO SPECIFICATION CAR***LOCATED IN OAK BROOK ILLINOIS PRICED TO SELL !!!NO RESERVE !!! ONLY SERIOUS BUYERS NEED READ FURTHER !!! BODY: Paint is Pearl White (an older paint job, still showing well) Has a minor "chip" in the paint by drivers mirror. One minor (dime sized ding on drivers door).Left rear wheel arch has a minor bubble. Chrome and hub caps look good. Grill and flying lady are in nice condition as well. The glass is free of cracks or damage. A nice looking car !!! INTERIOR: Tan/Cream leather in very nice shape, no rips or tears. Has a beautiful headliner (see photo) All carpet shows well too (remember it's a 1978)! Wood is in decent condition. Has an updated CD player and working power antenna.MECHANICAL: Recently serviced (spark plugs & oil/filter change) also set carbs. (HAS DUAL SU CARBS). Had newer tires (has been sitting) . Steering rack replaced. Had $9,000 in brake work (that was several years ago, comes with several detailed repair logs and invoices) The car stops great, no issues with brakes. Seems to drive locally better then on the highway. Air condition blows cold and heat is hot. All power windows work (rears are a little slow on the way up, but always close on their own) Power door locks work correctly as all of the lights. Only 70500 miles, low for the age. Runs and drives well. The transmission shifts smooth and engine stays cool. I wouldn't recommend any long journeys till it's been sorted through (been off the road several years, I purchased from a very nice retired man in southern USA).
