Hello, I am selling my 1974 Plymouth Barracuda. It has been off the road garaged since 1992. I was getting it ready to put it on the road as a fun driver, but I am just not going to get to what this still needs so I am selling it. I had a new exhaust installed and was told there was a rust hole on the lower rear frame rail on pass side so a piece was cut out of a junk yard car and welded in and under coated.  ( See photo point out repair) The rest of the floor looks good and original. There still could be a small rust spot here or there. But for the most part the floors and rails are solid. The trunk is original and has a few little holes coming thru that would be a easy fix. Both Quarters and parts of the inner edges of the wheel house where rusted out and repaired at some point with older patch panels and I have the remains of cut up pieces. They look good for a driver and the final putty work was never completed. I think they look like they can be used as is if your able to do the final body work. Or figure on doing new quarters to be perfect. Both front fenders had the lower 12 inches replaced with patch panels and you can still see the seam and will need to be finished. There is rust on the tops of fenders in spots and by the hinges on inner fenders. Rust hold on firewall by brake booster that would not be that hard to fix. Some rust holes on roof from the vinyl in front edge and rear window not real bad but there is some silicone under molding around rear window.. The interior is complete but was white ( gets dirty) and is shot and will need to all be redone. Doors panels are chalky , dash is crack, ( they make a great pad cover a friend used and looks great on his car. Most things work on the car. I am sure some things don't. But speedo, head lights, fan, gauges seem to all work. Doors open and close fine and shut nice. The car starts right up and lot drives just fine. Front brakes work but a rear cylinder was leaking so the rears do not work.  It has been off the road since 1992, so with that said it will need to be gone over to be road worthy. It is missing the front directional light units in the front valance. But directional still work out back.  It is missing the small chrome lock levers on the inside of each door. Top fender turn signal lights are missing. Grill was cracked in many places and repaired and repainted, it is still missing parts under headlight area.The windshield has a BB chip in it. The color is maroon. original paint with lots of primer spots. The car has 91155 miles on it which I feel are original. Nice car to fix up.  The number on the dash matches the door vin sticker, fender tag (bit rusted but there)  and the engine is the numbers matching 318 two barrel. Clear NJ title in my name. I read this and it makes the car sound bad but it is a good start to a fun car that could be driven with not all that much work. These where good cars from a day we all miss.  Last tires are old, pass front goes flat in a day. rest hold air but would not be safe.           This 1974 Plymouth barracuda is sold in as is condition for parts or to fix up. There is no warranty or Guarantee expressed or implied. Title will be filled out with the new owners name at time of pickup.       Payment is Cash and only cash, no exceptions. On Apr-24-14 at 15:26:48 PDT, seller added the following information: Hi, I forgot to say that the original broadcast sheet is also included, it was in the seat back springs of the back seat and also matches the car.On Apr-26-14 at 11:39:49 PDT, seller added the following information: I wanted to add the back seat side panels where already replaced with nicer factory black ones. The plastic on the front pillar posts by windshield are chalky and falling apart and will need to be replaced. The headliner is still there and original in black.
