Up for sale is my 1975 Mercedes SEL 450. It has a powerful 4.5 Ltr. V8. This is one nice classic car! Believe it or not but the price tag on this car was 30k back in 75. It is loaded up with power everything, cruise, AC and everything on it works. It has tan leather interior and it is in good shape all except for the two front seats. They have a tear in each seat, but it could be easily fixed. I am the second owner of this car. It originally belonged to my aunt who worked for the pentagon. It was actually used as her personal limo. She named the car cocoa and I have all of the receipts for everything that has ever been done to the car since it's existence. It is a rust free car and it has been garage kept it's whole life and that is one reason I am getting rid of it, I need some garage space back. It was repainted about 10 years ago and the paint is still very nice and shiny. There are a few minor flaws in the paint job, but over all it is pretty good. It truly is one solid car for its age. I would not hesitate to jump in this car right now and drive it cross country, because I know this car is going to be running for a long time! Here are a couple of minor things that are wrong with the car. The passenger side mirror glass is cracked, the windows are slow going up and down but they have been that way for as long as I can remember and they always go up. there might be a small ding or two, but nothing stands out to me. There is no broken glass and I just gave the car a tune up and put tires on it. The ones that were on it were brand new but they had dry rotted. The car has disc brakes all the way around and I am put new brakes on it today. I am pricing it to sell so make me an offer I will assist in shipping the car if needed.
