Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is my 1972 Triumph T100R Daytona WITH MATCHING NUMBERS. Beware of fakes. The originals have "Triumph" stamped on the same pad that the serial number is stamped on on both the engine pad and the frame pad (See Pics). This bike was restored in 2012 but the engine was not and its still original and runs great. Its not a Concourse restoration but an excellent one none the less. Its a rider and needs to be ridden and I simply have not had any time to enjoy it. It will start on the first or second kick. Its simply a nice old bike. The only issues are one torn rubber on the center kickstand, dent on front fender under zenor diode (I'm an idiot and had it mounted upside down), minor oil leak from side case(Normal), the speedo is off and its obviously due to the wrong speedo drive as its a 1 to 1.25 and probably should be a 1 to 1, mileage shows 237 on the new speedo that I have put on it (its wrong due to the speedo drive, probably closer to 160 and I do not know how many OEM miles the bike has. The bike was taken down to the frame and powder coated. All the attaching hardware was powder coated as well. Go to you tube and my channel is "andy byars" and you will find a small restoration vid of the bike. The following has been replaced or re-maned:Both TiresCarbsTach and CablesSpeedo and CablesEngine seals and gaskets (Engine was not rebuilt and is still original)SeatHandlebarsHeadlight housingEnectronic voltage regulatorForks and BootsWheels truedBatteryTurn signals (aftermarket)MirrorsRubbersMufflersTrans shifter gateClutch packStatorRear shocksWheel bearings and sealsTriple tree bearingsSpeedo driveTach driveSwingarm bushings and sealsHornLots of misc used stuff as wellTriumph emblems and decals Please email with any questions prior to bidding. Please no zero feedback bidders.A deposit of $500.00 needs to be paid upon winning the bid with 24 hours.I am counting on the winning bidder to arrange pick up as I can not.Good luck and this bike is simply a joy to ride.
