This is a 1987 Chevy Corvette. It is our personal car that we have own since 2010 and have used it as a daily driver during the summer. We have never driven the car in the winter and has not been exposed to salt while we have owned it. We are selling only due my recent loss of the loss of my job due to a closure, my loss is your gain. I have a very low reserve, this is a great opportunity to get a Vette for just a little $$. Over all condition is good, but this is a car with almost 150,000 miles. We have taken great care of it for the 25,000 or so mile we have had it. I will list all known "opportunities", and the repairs we have made to it. This car is a lot of fun to drive and also gets really good gas mileage so it is great for a weekend cruise. Things we have replaced: Alternator, Battery, Both Drive shaft u-joints, all four 1/2 shaft joints, front and rear brake pads, front calipers and rotors, both front wheel bearing hubs, drivers side electric window mechanism ( not just the motor), oil pressure sending unit, water pump, serpentine belt, both mufflers and the exhaust pipes behind the convertor. Also regular things like oil changes, air filter and spark plugs have all been done. Known Opportunities: Right rear interior trim just below the hatch window is broken in 1/2 and part of it is missing, easy fix see picture # 15. used part should run less than $30 . All of the dash works, but the engine temp and average miles per gallon reading is dim compaired to the rest of the dash, see picture #13. The leather seats covers are very bad, but the seat foam is good and we have put a set of the Mid America Motor Works neoprene seat covers on the seats. Please look at the pictures, I have put pictures of the original covers and pictures with the neoprene covers on the seats as they are now. The small pads by the seats ,see picture# 20, need to be replaced, I have a new pair that cost over $50 but have not installed them yet, these parts will go with the car. A/C needs to be recharged every year. Paint on the removable part of the top is not peeling off, but not in as good shape when compared to the rest of the car, see picture #24. small area of paint is peeling on passenger side mirror, see picture #23.
