You are bidding on a pretty original 1958 Chevrolet Impala 2 dr. H.T. with 68,030 miles. It is in excellent shape and is a #2 Driver condition car according to Hagerty description and is priced according to condition. This car can be safely driven anywhere and will cruise at 80-85 all day long and very comfortably. It has the "big-block" 348 V/8 with Edelbrock manifold and 4 bbl. carburetor, and has an alternator, a 4 core radiator, a six-blade fan and front wheel disc brakes to improve the handling and cooling. There are 6 fairly new Wide White Wall tires with probably 3-4,000 miles on them. It has a great Wonderbar radio with great speakers, clock that works, dealer installed A/C that works about as well as it did in 1958 and it has power steering and power brakes, with twin antennaes, twin mirrors, fender-skirts, wide-white walls, spinner hub-caps (2 sets) and dual mufflers and tail-pipes w/ chrome extensions.Sounds great! IT seems very straight, w/ no body panel ripples, cracks, etc. no rust, and I detect no bondo anywhere and gaps look very good. Most of chrome is perfect. The front stainless steel spears have a few small dents. This is an excellent car and could easily be a No. 1 without much work. It has been appraised, and asking price is below appraisal.
