2011 BMW X5 M-Sport 4.4L Twin Turbo V-8 12,974 Original Miles For sale is a 2011 BMW X5 that was purchased from an online auction. This was an insurance claim vehicle due to it being involved in a flood. The vehicle as it sits is non running but will turn the accessories on. The vehicle was checked out by the local BMW Dealership for problems and also mechanical condition. The conclusion was the modules that control all of the sensors and components to communicate with the vehicle were damaged and needed to be replaced. As of right now I can not afford to fix this vehicle due to recent events and am selling AS IS (estimate $4,000-$5,000 in repair costs). I am not a mechanic and cannot guarantee this to be the accurate diagnosis, but this is what the BMW Certified technician diagnosed. This is a very good looking, low mileage vehicle and with the right knowledge can be running and driving for a fraction of what these vehicles are valued at. Blue Book puts this vehicle over 65,000 in used condition with the mileage. This is a very heavily optioned vehicle and great looking as well. Take about 60% of the value for it being a flood car and you still have plenty of room for repair expenses. My loss is definitely your gain on this one.
